Colder than normal early spring weather sure did not slow down the start to the Lake Michigan fishing season as good numbers of Brown Trout along with some nice King Salmon in the 8 to 14 pound range is what we are finding. Hopefully this is an early sign to another record setting season for Trout and Salmon fishing. Trolling the shoreline areas both north and south of town in 10 to 20 feet of water are producing these early season fish. Planner boards are taking fish on deep diving Dave's Kabooms in the glow colors while bright colored Stinger spoons in the medium size worked well on the diver rods and down riggers. Back to the boathouse for us inbetweeen trips the next couple days as the Dumper Dan 5 is nearing completion for a busy upcoming season. Myself along with the entire Dumper Dan crew of captains and first mates really look forward to fishing with you this 2008 season aboard Sheboygan all-time largest charter fishing fleet!

Now up and running trips Sheboygan's NEWEST charter fishing boat Dumper Dan # 5 a clean, spacious fully equipped 30 foot twin engine 1997 Baha Cruisers Sportfishing boat. (Pictured below).
